NARRATIVE: The narrative story line is a linear story line and is single stranded. Equilibrium- Jack taking the new job as the caretaker and shelley and sam going on with their normal lives at home Disruption- When jack starts to get rude to shelley saying how he needs to write and shelley coming in and giving him food is not helping him. Realisation- When shelley tells sam not to go up to jack's room and not to disturb jack when he's working Restored order- When jack is killed by being frozen in the maze. equilibrium- we see that jack is in the picture of the gold room with everyone standing around him. He looks happy and content.
