NARRATIVE: it is a non linear story line. The protagonist is helen who is competing for a mythology story for a place in the paper. She gets told about the candy man story and tries it out herself. Strange things start happening. She starts to get chased by this mysterious figure who turns out to be the antagonist named the candy man. her friend the sidekick named anne marie tries to tell her it's all fake and it's just a dream.

KEY SCENES: The scene where the story candy man is being told for the first time.- it gives a brief overview on why candy man does this to people. and gives the reason for the wasps. The first scene where helen meets the candy man.- it shows what and how the candy man is like and shows the audience what he will be wearing throughout the film. so the audience can always identify who it is. The scene in the hospital where helen is strapped to the bed and is screaming for the candy man is right above her. This shows the audience that he likes to mess with his victim's head.
